We spent today working as a group on our Power-Points for IRB. It was helpful going over our ideas as a group. Some questions that came up were pre and post test and when they would be necessary, also we discussed our deadlines, and finally how we would set up our assessments. We struggled through some of these issues as a group but were able to talk through them and bounce ideas off each other.
As far as my own Action Research is coming I am starting to feel a little better. My research question is "Dose the use of PowerPoint during instruction improve special education student test scores"? Currently I am still working on my assessments and how I will best tie them into my over all question. I am hopeful that I can start designing a pre and post tests and possibly work back words from that point. I am still struggling with how I will tie everything together. Also, I am still trying to figure out how I will go about collecting my data. As we get closer to the end 520 things are beginning to come together. I am hopeful that as I put the pieces of my Action Research together everything will fit together.
